morning show

Today I woke up early since its Monday, besides even If I don’t want to, I have no choice its either I get up and be ready to go to work or not at all.
Yes its high tide again and sure as a whistle by the time I woke up at around 5:30 the water level outside the house is already about a foot high.
I felt panghihinayang s oras n dapat sana tulog p ko pero I had to wake up, 930 p nmn kc pasok ko. I went out together with my older brother, hated n daw ksi kami ni tatay going bayan(bayan ng hagonoy hindi ng malolos) because of the flood. Anyway we did pass houses flooded knee high with water, as we go along the way i cant help but think howd tatay could go back home, for sure he’ll push the tryk back since the water could be higher by then. Anyway we arrived at bayan a little early, I said my goodbyes with tatay and my kuya whos off to BSU as one of the young instructors there. A few moment go by and I got to ride at an aircon baliwag bus. (I just slept along the way)

When I arrived at the MRT station(north ave) it the same busy and crowded place jammed pack as always. As I struggle my way to the stairs just minding my way to push through the crowd, before I reach the stairs theres this guy whos looking left and right and wont budge and looking mighty angry, I thought its because of the siksikan, but sooner I knew that someone had picked his pocket and took his wallet. He was abaout to punch a guy when he suddenly kneeled down to pick something it was his wallet relieved that he got his wallet back he said “pota, nakuha ko pa! namumukaan kita!”. when we reached the inspection counter the lady guards said “Anu yan?!” thinking that the victime is the culprit, the guy had to explain himself to the guards. Then the guards gave out a warning “ma/am/ sir mag-igant po tau s mga gamit naitn”.
As I walked along I cant help but think bout the just who nearly lost his phone and cash inside his pouch(wallet), if it had been me what would I do? I mean the mighth have had all his valuables inside his pouch. I even remembered an office mate who had his phone picked pocketed inside the train while playing mp3s on it, the only thing is he had the state of mind to press the signal driver button which stopped the train in mid stations, kinapkapan nya yung mga tao s train but sadly his efforts was futile.
As their train stopped at the next station a lady went out, my officemate had his suspicions and quickly grabbed the lady, sure enough he saw his phone. The guard told him that if his suspicion was wrong he’d be reported for sexual harassment, luckily his hunch didn’t failed him. Even I had my phone taken from the mrt, in a situation n super siksikan n all I can think of is trying to hold at the handle bars, while some guy had his eyes on my phone and maybe in the midst of the situation he took the advantage. I only noticed my phone was gone when I got out of the train(tanga tanga kc), ive got no one to blame but me. I just told myself “mas kailangan nya yun. alerto n lng next time.”

Is this the result of poverty? Have we become so barbarous that we care not of others but ourselves?
I may not know how the others have been, I may not be able to hear their cries but im willing to listen(well not always but to the best of my capabilities I am).
I wanted to blame some one for all ruckuses that lead to such incidents. Can I blame the culprits? But howd they end up doing that may lead back to someone else.truly life here just gets more rougher everyday. They hell with gma saying umuunlad tau. LIES!!! I even see adds with the words “Pilipinas kong mahal” with a flag background, the first thing that came to my mind was PILIPINAS KONG MAHAL ANG BILIHIN! No wonder people migrate to other places. This country sucks! Even the people that used to be sweetest of its kind is evolving to its harsh environment. Sooner or later we’d all be making choices wed regret for the rest of our lives just to cope up with the times.

Eto ang weird part.. yah I may judge this place a hell on earth pero ironically speaking there is indeed no place like home. I may hate some of the peeps here for their actions, but I still believe in us. As long as there are people willing to change for the best we mustn’t drag their hopes down. Might as well strive on our own that maybe we could make a difference(parang narerelate to in a way dun s post ni DR.Robles ah J). I guess one guy striving for the best is certainly better than none at all.

I love the Philippines. NOt because we are well off, or we're progressing, we're actually not. But it's our own.

Sorry for a crappy day you had.

And yeah, we can make a difference!",
