yung wag mabigat saloob mo iho ah..

yesterday was the pistang bayan for the people of hagonoy, its the feast of saint anne. i wasnt able to attend church in the morning(reason i stayed too late last friday that i woke up at around 10am, theres no more mass) . its saturday and its the feast of saint anne, i just cant stay home and waste my time watching tv, my feet are itching to get out.. and so i did, btw i scored two tickets for the lifehouse concert held on that day also. its noon and the one im taking to the concert still isnt confirming if she'll come or not. i decided i go out and wait for her reply on my way.

i stopped at the church of saint anne to give my thanks and prayers. on my way inside the church there are lots of vendors, they sell all sorts of things, from plants to utensils, abubot and crafts. before i got inside the church this old lady approached me and gave me a small rosary and a necklace of the Vrgin Mary, she said its was for free(walang bayad). she was smilling when she gave them to me and saying walang bayad. since wala nmn daw bayad i accepted what shes trying to give me, but once i recieved them she quickly says "ulong lng atong, minsan lng nmn mag fiesta si sta.Ana db?" i cant help but just scratch my head. so i put my hand in my pocket to reach for my coin purse,before i gave her money she gently touched my chest and said "ung maluwag lng sa loob mo iho ah". i took 10pesos(its the actual price of those items, i know since i already have those) and hand it to the old lady, then she said "trenta pesos iho". in my mind i was shouting "NO EFFING WAY!!!" but i was in the entrance of the church, and i could spare some so i just let it go.(tanga talaga ko pagdating s ganito, uto uto eh).

giving the 30pesos doesnt make me angry at the old lady but it just ticks e off when she openly said to me na walang bayad then asking me for help na maluwag sakin pero with a certain amout. asar. kung sobre n lng binigay nya sakin e di sana d n nya kailangan magpatumpiktumpik pa. hence fort i bow i will no longger accept freebies from old ladies in front of the church.(ill choose siguro.. :) cant just say no to those in need pero they shouldnt use religious items as their medium)


btw i went to araneta then sold my ticket to a scalper then went back home.. nawala n ko s mood since d rin nmn punta ung kasama ko.
