as requested by Dr.Robles, heres some instruction you could use to connect to the internet using your GPRS/3G capable fone(this one is mostly for nokia fone, d ko p makita config para s ibang brands eh). this is a lot cheaper than the kit cause you dont dont neet to buy the kit and no subscription meaning the monthly payment, as loang as you have load pede k maka connect s net.. :) hope this helps..


For Nokia cellphone users, madali lang naman mag-connect. All you need is NOKIA PC SUITE installed on your PC, your cellphone, the data cable or bluetooth dongle sa PC din, and siyempre your sim card na maraming load!

Kung installed na properly ang PC suite sa PC mo, connect mo na yung cellphone using your data cable or bluetooth. Mas advisable ang data cable kasi mas mabilis ang data transfer.

Pag connected na, open PC Suite, and execute/run mo yung CONNECT TO THE INTERNET. Bubukas yung ONE TOUCH ACCESS na application.

First, click on SETTINGS. Dun sa select modem, locate mo yung cellphone mo, then click NEXT. Sa select your network operator from the list, hanapin mo yung GLOBE PHILIPPINES or SMART PHILIPPINES then click FINISH. Then OK na yan. Magko-connect na yan.

Ako, successful din ang connection using SMART sim. Pero sa GLOBE, laging hindi OK.

Regarding GPRS or 3G, basta yung unit mo eh 3G ready na at may 3G signal sa lugar mo, then automatic na 3G na ang gagamitin niya, otherwise, GPRS speed lang ang makukuha mo.
Dun sa mga gustong mai-connect yung PC sa internet using cellphone, I advise you use SMART na lang. Kasi nga mas cheaper ang offer unlike Globe na ang hirap hirap na nga kumonek, eh ang mahal pa ng singil.
Saka mas makakamura ka nga naman kesa gumamit ka pa ng dialups thru internet prepaid cards.
Lumalabas, para ka lang nagre-rent ng internet sa cafe. PhP20 for 1 hour, PhP10 for 30mins

yung APN na dapat gamitin is kung ano ang APN na available sa networkmo..
